Indira Starr
Indira Starr is an actor known for her emotionally rich performances across film and television. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she developed a love for storytelling early on and deepened that passion after moving to Carlsbad, California at age ten.
A passion for storytelling through the lens led her into a competitive school broadcasting program, where she spent several years learning the technical side of production while anchoring to an audience of over 3,000 students. These early experiences taught her both the discipline of behind-the-camera work and the presence needed in front of it.
After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting, working on a variety of indie projects and collaborating with emerging directors. Her body of work spans both short and feature-length films, highlighting a dedication to grounded, character-driven storytelling.
With acting roots in both Los Angeles and Austin, Texas, she continues to build a body of work that reflects her dedication to layered storytelling and compelling character work-both in front of the camera and behind it.
