Nowar is a Syrian-born stage actress based in Rome. She has performed internationally in cities including New York, Berlin, Brussels, Amsterdam, and Cairo. Over the past decade, Nowar has expanded her work into film and television. She received the Best Actress Award at the 31st Alexandria Mediterranean Countries Film Festival for her performance in the Syrian feature Four O'clock at Paradise (2015). In 2017, she was awarded Best Female Performer at the Carthage Theater Days (Journées Théâtrales de Carthage - JTC) for her role in the stage production Statico. She is fluent in Arabic and English, and speaks basic Italian.
