Jimmy Allen Woods is an African-American Asian actor who is from Durham, NC. He was abandoned by his birth mother at birth, leaving Jimmy in the United States as his mother returned back to her native land Seoul, Korea. Jimmy's father passed away shortly after he was born due to cancer complications. However, before his passing, Jimmy's father asked his sister (Jimmy's Aunt) and her husband to take care of their nephew. Jimmy grew up in a family of five siblings, being second to the youngest. He was actively engaged in theatre from a young age performing in Sunday school plays and school musicals. Jimmy continued pursuing his passion at North Carolina Central University, where he studied and graduated in the spring of 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre.
