Jay Battles is an American actor and writer based in Chicago, Illinois. He took an interest in acting and writing at an early age, studying both in college before ultimately earning an MBA from Saint Xavier University. After a successful career as a Women's College Basketball coach, Jay decided on a career change and began intensive training to become a professional actor in 2020. He has acted in dozens of stage productions and short films, completing over 25 projects in the past 16 months and has written four screenplays. In his free time, Jay enjoys going to the movies, exploring Chicago, and arguing with friends about the important issues of the day such as, "Is Justin Fields a franchise QB?", the most overrated fast-food chains, and which horror franchises would make the best musicals.
