Born and raised in Mexico City, he studied the violin at the Mozarteum of Salzburg, Austria from the age of 6 and went on to be an accomplished violinist. At 17 he decided to change course and become an actor and eventually graduated from Televisa's prestigious Center for Artistic Education in Mexico. He's won Mexico's prestigious Heraldo Award and the Califas de Oro Award given to the best young actors in Mexico. He's twice been named 'Best Young Actor' by the Eres magazine and has been on the covers of numerous other magazines
