Amanda Sans Pantling is a multi-awarded director and writer. Of British-Spanish nationality she is known for visually striking films that deeply explore characters and the complex nature of the human condition. Among her latest works are the documentary feature film OSO, premiered in 2020 at the San Sebastian Film Festival and Amazon Prime Video, the script for the film Postwar Album, pre- candidate for the Goya Awards 2022, and an Apple TV + series, produced by A24, pending premiere in April 2022. Her cinema is character driven with an observational and intimate feel, combined with a powerful and aesthetic visual approach. She has written and directed more than a dozen films and/or series for broadcasters such as Apple TV +, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, ARTE, Olympic Channel, TVE, TV3, Canal Plus, Movistar +, Cuatro, Betevé, among others.
