Stephen is a stunt performer, filmmaker and lifelong martial artist. He has worked for renowned stunt coordinators on various television and film productions, is a member of SAG-AFTRA, its stunt safety committee, as well as other industry associations that demonstrate his commitment to the profession, safety and the community. Stephen co-hosts the 'Film Fights With Friends' podcast with Paul Varacchi which, along with industry guests, looks at various aspects of action filmmaking. In addition to stunt work, Stephen is the head coach and owner of NY Combat Sambo, a private martial arts club that offers high-quality instruction in Sambo, Combat Sambo, and Judo for performers, professionals and civilians. He has coached his team to multiple national and international titles, and has served as a team coach for the US World Sambo Team and the US Combat Wrestling World Team. As an independent filmmaker, he has produced and directed several documentaries and short films that reflect his passion for collaborative storytelling.
