During World War II, the Germans decide to launch one last big offensive. Lieutenant Robert Cappa and his platoon are given the responsibility of defending a vital supply depot.

Lt. Cappa and his American infantry platoon are ordered to defend a vital road junction against a German offensive in the Battle of the Bulge. Despite difficult winter conditions, they must hold their position to stop the German advance.
