Sarah Yousef
Sarah Yousef is an Arab-Canadian actress, based between Amman and Toronto. A graduate of the University of Toronto and Sheridan College's Theatre and Drama Studies program. Sarah has always had a passion for storytelling. With a special interest in amplifying marginalized voices, and using the stage as a vessel for good, she finds acting to be one of the most useful methods to provide commentary on striking social issues, and express herself, simultaneously.
Her passion for acting and performing started at eleven, a period of newness and unfamiliarity. After leaving Amman, and despite the foreignness of relocating, Sarah found immense joy after joining theatre communities in Canada. Throughout her middle school, high school, and university years, Sarah found herself most comfortable facing an audience time and time again. Whether it was dancing, singing, or acting, each step she took propelled her onto the path she finds herself on today - a professional actress.
Sarah has taken part of many theatrical project in Toronto, including Shakespeare's Henry IV (2018), followed by The Glove Thief by Beth Flintoff (2019) and Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare (2020).
Most recently, Sarah managed to land her TV debut in Alrawabi School for girls on Netflix, directed by Tima Shomali (2024).
