Elvire Emanuelle is an actress and writer born of Haitian immigrants. She is known for the film Kemba (2024) and best recognized for leading the SXSW winning and acclaimed Netflix film, First Match (2018). Kemba was directed by Student Academy winning director, Kelley Kali. First Match was written and directed by Olivia Newman and debuted at South by Southwest being nominated for the Grand Jury Award and winning the Luna Gamechanger and Audience Choice awards. Elvire trained in New York City with renowned acting teacher, Wynn Handman. She is the writer of the feature film, Tifi and short film, Three. Elvire is pronounced ehl-veer.
