Hoji is a Europe-based, Africa Movie Academy Award winning actor, performing internationally in film, TV and theatre. His performance as the menacing crime lord César in internationally acclaimed drama 'Viva Riva' is lauded as one of the best performances of all times from an African actor. His first directing project, the short film A Lisbon Affair, was nominated for the Africa Movie Academy Awards and the Portuguese Film Academy Awards. Hoji also lends his voice to animated films having performed in at least two award-winning films.
